His work spans control systems engineering, Fieldbus-based actuators and instrumentation, integrated security systems, automated stockyard management, vibration management systems, turbo supervisory systems, smart townships, HMIPIS with cybersecurity, and PA and CCTV systems. His expertise includes DDCMIS, BESS, digitalization, AR/VR, generative AI, AI-driven process improvement and cybersecurity, functional safety, IIoT, hyperautomation, and digital twins and simulators. He is a Certified Functional Safety Professional and a Gen AI expert. Sumit holds a BE (Instrumentation), PG Diploma (Thermal Power Plant Engineering), PG Diploma (AI & ML), MSc (AI & ML).
