India’s information technology (IT) services industry continues its growth trajectory as most of the IT services companies covered in the report exhibited above-average growth. In this report, we analyze the revenues of India’s IT services sector for the first quarter of financial year 2017-18 and compare these with the same period the previous year.

Overall, automation suppliers saw their revenues venture into positive territory during the second quarter of 2017, increasing by over 3 percent compared to the same quarter the previous year. Discrete-centric suppliers continued to see strong gains in both revenues and new orders, reflecting growth in the automotive and electronics sectors in many regions around the world.
