AVEVA signed a partnership agreement with Virsec, a provider of cybersecurity solutions designed to counter advanced cyberattacks. With this partnership, AVEVA customers gain access to in-memory cyber protection for Industrial Control (ICS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. Virsec’s patented technology can help to reduce risks posed by targeted cyberattacks across IT and OT systems.
Siemens PLM Software and Bentley Systems announced an integrated solution for enterprises to deliver capital projects more efficiently, combining the Teamcenter portfolio with Bentley’s ProjectWise and its Connected Data Environment (CDE). Teamcenter is among the world’s most widely used product lifecycle management (PLM) system, and ProjectWise is the project delivery collaboration platform for 43 of Engineering News Record’s global Top 50 Design Firms.
In the companies’ latest Alliance Board meeting, Bentley Systems and Siemens decided to further strengthen their strategic alliance, which started in 2016. The two companies have decided to extend their existing agreement, to further develop their joint business cooperation and commercial initiatives. Therefore, the joint innovation investment program will be increased from the initial €50 million funding to €100 million.
