Microsoft has acquired Solair, an Italian company that has been delivering innovative Internet of Things (IoT) services to customers across a number of industries, including manufacturing, retail, food & beverage and transportation. Solair has already created Azure-based solutions for the likes of AEG Power Solutions, Bosch Rexroth and Japanese power company Aiwa, among others. This acquisition supports Microsoft's strategy to deliver the most complete IoT offering for enterprises and adds to its IIoT expertise.
