Infosys announced the launch of Infosys Nia, the next-generation Artificial Intelligence Platform building on the success of the company’s first-generation AI platform, Infosys Mana, and its Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution, AssistEdge. 

Yokogawa Electric Corporation announced that it has developed the ADMAG Total Insight (TI) series, a new portfolio of electromagnetic flowmeters, and will release it on May 15.

The ADMAG TI series consists of the ADMAG AXG and the ADMAG AXW electromagnetic flowmeters.  The ADMAG AXG is a complete redesign of the ADMAG AXF and will accommodate bore diameters from 2.5 mm up to 500 mm, while the revamped ADMAG AXW will accommodate bore diameters ranging from 25 mm to 1800 mm.

Rockwell Automation has released a new networked safe torque off option module that allows safety and non-safety functions to share the same EtherNet/IP network.  Designed for the Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 755 and PowerFlex 755T AC drives, this safety option helps to protect personnel and equipment by removing rotational power from the motor without removing power from the drive.  This functionality helps to allow for a quick restart after a demand on the safety system.
