Kepware, a PTC business developing industrial connectivity software, announced the release of KEPServerEX Version 6.1 connectivity software.  The new release is an evolution of Version 6, further building upon the industrial connectivity platform’s core server functionalities that support operational intelligence and the development and deployment of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions.  Key updates include an enhanced OPC UA Client driver, expanded Configuration API capabilities, and new connectivity mapping features.

Yokogawa Electric Corporation announced that it will release an enhanced version of the ProSafe-RS safety instrumented system on April 26.  This latest release, R4.03.00, includes an improved engineering function for configuring fire and gas systems (FGS) and new operation faceplates for the FGS operation and monitoring screens.  These enhancements make it easier to adopt and use ProSafe-RS in FGS applications.

Schneider Electric announced the release of ClearSCADA 2017 with location services and integrated mapping functionalities.  ClearSCADA 2017 is focused on helping to enhance insight and control for customers managing geographically dispersed operations, particularly those within the upstream oil & gas, water and wastewater sectors.
