Overview

Industrial managers want to leverage Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies to improve performance and cut costs.  But they are being delayed with concern about the increased risks of cyber incidents.  While guidance on designing secure IIoT devices is helpful, companies are still struggling with a variety of other IIoT cybersecurity concerns including:

  • Ensuring IIoT devices are securely deployed in facilities
  • Ensuring that IIoT doesn't compromise ICS/OT security
  • Ensuring that IIoT endpoint security is sustained
  • Ensuring the increased connectivity of facilities is secure

Understanding how peers address these issues will help companies overcome these hurdles.
