Siemens Limited provided critical diagnostics equipment for COVID-19 response to the Government Medical College and Hospital in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India.
The equipment includes a fully automated RNA extractor instrument, 1,00,000 units of ICMR-approved magnetic bead-based Nucleic acid extraction (COVID-19 RNA), and two real-time PCR (polymerase chain reaction) analyzer instruments with data station.
Siemens says that they are supporting the local authorities in Aurangabad in the fight against COVID-19, and this equipment will further strengthen the capacity of Aurangabad in its response to COVID-19 and help save lives.
