Infor’s Next Generation of Infor VISUAL Now Available

Infor announced the availability of the next generation of Infor VISUAL. Infor VISUAL 9.0 is an end-to-end solution that is designed to assist order driven manufacturing companies to maintain a competitive advantage by helping deliver quality products on-time.

Infor VISUAL is used in aerospace & defense, automotive, high tech & electronics, industrial manufacturing, machinery & equipment, medical device, specialty vehicle, and general order-driven manufacturing industries. The solution can integrate numerous aspects of the order-driven manufacturer's business, including planning and sourcing to creation and delivery. Infor VISUAL offers a view of the order lifecycle, and delivers modernized tools to help users to determine production status, identify potential issues, and dynamically adjust schedules to help ensure customer satisfaction.

Many new features were added to this release of Infor VISUAL to address certain manufacturing-specific needs during the order process. This includes new lifecycle notifications that can send e-mails when specified sales and purchasing events occur, determine notification points at the business partner level, and notify production when a late or urgent delivery is received. In addition, an enhanced audit capability allows users to see audit log of changes made to a document and determine the who, what, and where. Companies can measure lead-time performance across product lines and functional areas of the business making required adjustments and implementing control points aimed at increasing customer satisfaction. User defined dashboard analytics can help companies heighten performance and transparency across the entire organization.
