Cybersecurity Supplier Owl Cyber Defense will be holding a webinar hosted by product manager Mark Toussaint on Wednesday, April 1 at 2 PM Eastern Time. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the need to perform remote operations in a secure environment is crucial, especially for critical infrastructure industries, DoD, intelligence agencies, and related functions. End users must ensure that they have a secure remote access solution in place.
Owl Cyber Defense Virtual Screen View
To aid in this effort, Owl is offering free access to their remote HMI/screen view software tool called Virtual Screen View. This tool works in conjunction with any Owl data diode and allows remote users to see user interface screens at any remote location, allowing secure, virtual visibility into plants, enclaves, or other facilities.

With Virtual Screen view, the Owl data diode continues to provide 100% security assurance, preventing all external access to the remote facility through the data diode while allowing internal user screens to be replicated to remote users. To help users get through the current crisis, Owl is offering a free 180-day trial for Virtual Screen View. For those that don't have an existing Owl data diode to run Virtual Screen View over, Owl is offering discounts on its data diode appliances in addition to the 180-day free trial. Owl data diodes can be used to run just the Virtual Screen View application, or they can simultaneously run any of the other supported use cases (historian replication, SIEM, file transfer, UDP streaming, TCP traffic, etc.).
