Red Lion Controls announces the availability of PID modules for the FlexEdge Intelligent Edge Automation Platform.
The PID modules can accept a wide range of inputs, including TC, RTD, 0-10 V, and 0/4-20 mA. With multiple discrete outputs, plus an optional analog output, the PID modules can perform multiple combinations of time proportioning or linear control for heat, cool, or heat/cool applications.
FlexEdge enables customers to more easily connect new and existing devices, helping to reduce overall downtime and allowing for more frictionless, future-proof scalability at levels designed specifically for edge devices. This flexibility allows for the selection of a single platform for edge requirements, so customers can better focus on business efficiency without needing to focus on choosing the correct combination of products for their application.
