Weidmueller USA Announced that it is now assembling its CUBESERIES Industrial Relay kits at its Richmond, Virginia, facility to help support faster fulfillment and greater supply continuity for North American customers.
Weidmueller USA announced that it is now assembling kitted versions of its CUBESERIES Industrial Relay line at the company’s recently opened production facility in Richmond, Virginia. This US assembly is designed to help shorten delivery times, improve supply continuity, and provide local support for customers building control panels, industrial machinery, and automation systems across North America.
The local assembly initiative follows Weidmueller USA’s expansion of its Richmond engineering and production operations and reflects the company’s broader effort to bring industrial connectivity and automation production closer to North American customers.
Local Assembly for North American Customers
Each CUBESERIES relay kit includes a relay, socket, retaining clip, and status indicator under a single part number. The kits are assembled, tested, marked with required approvals, and shipped from the Richmond facility. This approach can help to simplify procurement and inventory management, while reducing the amount of assembly work required by panel builders and machine builders.
The CUBESERIES line supports both PUSH IN and screw-clamp wire termination technologies. CRI and CRM preassembled relay modules are available in multiple voltage configurations and can be ordered with or without a test button. The relays are used for applications including switching small loads, decoupling systems, and multiplying signals in industrial automation environments.
Supporting Supply Chain Responsiveness
Bringing relay kitting closer to customers can help to reduce dependence on overseas shipping for finished assemblies and provide more flexibility when production requirements change. For North American OEMs, machine builders, and control panel manufacturers, local assembly can also help shorten replenishment cycles and simplify access to tested relay kits.
The move builds on Weidmueller USA’s earlier introduction of CUBESERIES relay modules, which were already designed for assembly and testing in Richmond before shipment to US customers.
