Senior Principal Technology Strategist
Penny is a Fellow of International Society of Automation (ISA), and Senior Principal Technology Strategist at Yokogawa US Technology Center. She is responsible for technology strategy, standardization, and exploring new technologies for industrial applications. She currently focuses on robotics for industrial applications, IoT, and wireless communication technologies. Penny is actively involved in ISA100 (Wireless Systems for Automation), ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute, and a variety of standardization activities through ISA, IEEE, and IETF. She has received the ISA S&P leadership award in Co-Chair to establish the ISA100.15 Wireless Backhaul Network Working Group and technical award for ISA100.20 Common Network Management standard. She is a US Expert in IEC SC65C of Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation Technical Committee.
