Michelle joined DowDupont (as Dow Chemical) in 2005 as an analytical chemist, providing non-routine analyses and support for trouble-shooting and problem-solving. In 2013, she moved out of the lab and into leading people, which led to Michelle becoming the leader for Dow’s Manufacturing Analytics team in 2016. The Manufacturing Analytics team works with internal clients to configure operational guidance systems to enable manufacturing plants to easily view critical data and quickly take appropriate actions. Michelle has 17 years of experience as an analytical chemist, working as a Research Chemist at the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta GA, an Analytical Chemist at Syngenta Crop Protection, and in the Mass Spectrometry Facility of the Chemistry Department at Louisiana State University.
