Major applications served by robots for the process industries include inspection of equipment, assets, or processes; leak detection of gas, methane, steam, water, or oil; surveying or mapping an asset or location; cleaning or decommissioning-related operations; surveillance/monitoring of facilities or operations; maintenance-related tasks; and other applications.
