AVEVA made several product announcements at its annual AVEVA World event held in Paris on October 14-17, 2024, including Industrial AI Assistant, AVEVA United Engineering, AVEVA Operations Control, and AVEVA PI Data Infrastructure. These will enable a range of new use cases such as data sharing, digital twin visualization, and AI-powered Analytics. This provides higher levels of engineering efficiency, operational performance, and improved decision making. They also announced new advancements to the CONNECT platform.
AVEVA Unified Engineering enables global teams to collaborate in a unified environment, helping to improve project delivery and design. AVEVA Operations Control offers more flexible access to HMI/SCADA, data management, and AI-powered insights for optimized production. The AVEVA PI Data Infrastructure adds real-time data collaboration, improving operational performance and decision-making.
These updates are designed to help users to further optimize their operations, improve collaboration, and achieve better outcomes.
Unified Engineering's new enhancements will help to bring together global, multi-discipline, multi-organization teams and allow them to work from the same up-to-date project data in a common environment. AVEVA Operations Control is including CONNECT capabilities with every subscription. The combination provides users with new insights from the industrial AI assistant that queries both process and MES data. Customers can use pre-defined and self-service editable dashboards and animations, to more holistically visualize complex interactions. AVEVA announced its PI System portfolio's new and expanded capabilities for its AVEVA PI Data Infrastructure offering, including new write-back capabilities from CONNECT to AVEVA PI Server to help enable real-time collaboration helping to allow operators to incorporate advanced analytics within trusted tools and existing workflows.
