The ARC forum is being held next week in Orlando, and we still have spots open to register. On Monday February 10, we will be hosting a sustainability workshop designed for end users. As part of the workshop, I will be moderating a session in conjunction with workshop sponsor Valmet Automation (the company recently purchased NovaTech and its D/3 DCS business) where we will discuss control system modernization and migration for increased sustainability. End users in the manufacturing and critical infrastructure sectors tend to retain their control systems well beyond their intended lifespan. An outdated control system can significantly hinder progress in improving energy efficiency, integrating renewable energy sources, and complying with regulatory reporting requirements.
