Masahiro Konda

Masahiro graduated from Tohoku University in March 2000 with a degree in Electronic Engineering. After working at a start-up company and as an assistant professor at the New Industry Creation Hatchery Center, Tohoku University, he joined Asahi Kasei Corporation in April 2009. He was engaged in sensor signal processing technology and application development in the R&D department. From 2019, he joined the DX organization in the production field to solve various issues, and from 2021, he experienced DX initiatives in the production/sales and marketing fields in the specialized digital organization, and from October 2024, he has been promoting DX in the R&D field.

Shumpei Kubosawa

Mr. Kubosawa graduated from Hitotsubashi University with a B.A. in Social Sciences in 2011, completed a master's degree at Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2013, and joined NEC in the same year, where he was assigned to the Information and Knowledge Laboratory. From 2014 to 2017, he was seconded to the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), and from 2017 to the present, to the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). He was initially engaged in natural language processing research but has since been engaged in applied research using simulation and reinforcement learning, and is working on planning technology using reinforcement learning, such as railroad operation planning as well as plant control. He is a member of SICE, SCEJ, and the Operations Research Society of Japan.

Yoshifumi Mori

Yoshifumi Mori joined Tokuyama Corporation in 2005 and was assigned to the Equipment Management Department Equipment Diagnosis Team (currently the Equipment Management Group Equipment Diagnosis Team), where he was involved in equipment diagnosis (vibration, tribology, etc.) and inspection work for rotating machinery at the Tokuyama Factory. In recent years, he has also been in charge of developing diagnostic technology and promoting digital transformation-related projects. He is a PhD in Engineering.

Masahiro Jitsuda

Mr. Jitsuda has supported the digitalization of the process industry for many years as an engineer and salesperson in the industrial software field. Currently, at Cognite, he is working to maximize the value of industrial data by supporting the implementation of Cognite Data Fusion and Atlas AI, as well as promoting post-implementation utilization and supporting the deployment to other departments.

Since 1983, Mr. Doi has worked for several major domestic manufacturers of process control equipment and systems, where he has been involved in product planning, marketing, and overseas sales for many years, and in recent years has led the promotion of digital transformation across the entire company. After more than 30 years of experience in the domestic and overseas process industries, he joined SUPCON JAPAN Co., Ltd., the Japanese subsidiary of SUPCON Co., Ltd., headquartered in China, in December 2023 and has been serving as Vice President and CMO.

Since joining Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Mr. Toinaga has been engaged in planning and development of OPC-related products for PA plant system development. He has been a member of the OPC Foundation Technical Advisory Council since 2018 and will become the secretary of the Japan OPC Foundation in 2022 and the representative in 2024.

Yoichi Matsumoto

Yoichi Matsumoto is a member of Red Hat's global sales team and is promoting business development with major manufacturing and power companies as an Industry 4.0 evangelist and sales lead for the APAC and Japan regions. He has 25 years of research and development and business creation experience at NTT, Intel, and Siemens, and is a strong believer in corporate transformation through open-source technology. He holds a master's degree from Stanford University and a doctorate from the University of Tokyo. His hobbies are oil painting and skiing.

Koji joined Intergraph Japan Co., Ltd. in 2013. In 2019, following the acquisition by the Asset Lifecycle Intelligence (ALI) division of Hexagon, a global leader in sensors, software, and autonomous solutions, he became part of Intergraph Japan, the Japanese subsidiary of Hexagon ALI. Since then, he has been proposing and supporting the implementation of solutions for operation and maintenance information management, engineering data management, and procedure manual management for the manufacturing and plant industries in the oil and gas, chemical, and power industries. Since 2024, he has been leading the organization as sales manager, supporting practical and sustainable digitalization for customers.

At a certain manufacturing company, I was responsible for developing plant equipment structure databases and manufacturing technology. Subsequently, in the systems department, I handled ERP development, IT quality control, IT security management and the planning and promotion of security strategies for information systems and Industrial Control Systems across the entire group, including domestic and international group companies. I also contributed to the formulation of industry cybersecurity guidelines. After joining SHIFT, I have been in charge of customer cybersecurity projects.

Hiroshi Hoshino

His work focuses on proposing security measures for industrial control systems and building PSIRT system for product vulnerability handling. He is engaged in international standardization of IEC 62443 as Japan National Committee Convenor of IEC/TC65/WG10.
