Siemens has released the Omneo Performance Analytics (PA) solution, the latest application for its software as a service (SaaS) Omneo offering, which it obtained last year as part of its acquisition of Camstar. Omneo PA, developed by Siemens' product lifecycle management (PLM) software business, delivers product performance intelligence from big data analytics. The solution monitors data across the entire supply chain and customer experience, while analyzing billions of data combinations in seconds.

ABB's Measurement & Analytics business has announced the LMS100 SPDT switch for mounting on level gauges. When mounted on an ABB KM26 Magnetic liquid level indicator or any external chamber that contains a magnetic float, the LMS100 switch can sense high or low levels within a vessel. Its unique magnetic coupling action avoids the need for seals, diaphragms, springs, or torque tubes. Magnetic coupling eliminates process contact and connections, ensuring total isolation from the process. Mounting and adjustment is achieved via a small screw-driver.

Emerson Process Management has introduced the CSI 3000 Machinery Health Monitor, a compact protection system for a wide range of machinery such as pumps, compressors, centrifuges, blowers, and generators. The CSI 3000 delivers protection data in situations where a standard rack-based system simply will not fit or is not a cost-effective approach. Easy assembly and user-friendly, customizable setup means the CSI 3000 has a short path out of the box to improving availability and ensuring safety of rotating assets.

OSIsoft announces that the generally availability of PI Cloud Connect, a SaaS model that allows for information sharing across enterprises, as part of PI Cloud Services.

PI Cloud Connect is the first of a set of services delivered by OSIsoft that fall under the PI Cloud Services umbrella. PI Cloud Connect is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering managed by OSIsoft that allows users to share data between PI Systems.

Emerson Process Management's AMS Suite: Intelligent Device Manager version 13.0 software enables customers to configure HART devices in bulk, saving time and reducing errors. Managing wireless networks is also easier as users can expand wireless networks faster and with more built-in reliability.

Siemens has launched the SPPA-T3000 R7.2, a new release of its power plant control system. This new release focuses even more on the human-machine interface (HMI). New functions and simplified operations will help control room personnel perform their day-to-day work more efficiently and more effectively, and react reliably and more quickly in critical situations. The new SPPA-T3000 R7.2 will be part of all of Siemens' new power generation control solutions and can also be integrated or retrofitted to existing control systems.

IBM is introducing several new services on Bluemix, IBM's cloud development platform, designed to help developers create analytics-driven cloud applications.

The services announced will make it easier for developers to create cloud applications for mobile, Internet of Things (IoT), supply chain analytics and intelligent infrastructure solutions. They will be added to over 100 services already available in the Bluemix catalog, which includes complementary analytics tools from IBM such as those found in the recently unveiled IoT Zone and Watson Zone.

Rockwell Automation released its new Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 527 AC drives, designed to be the first AC drives to work exclusively with the company's Logix-based programmable automation controllers (PACs). The drives leverage the controller's capabilities and use a single software package, Rockwell Software Studio 5000 Logix Designer, to help simplify machine development and operation.
