At the ACHEMA 2015 trade show the organisations NAMUR, ARC Advisory Group and ZVEI will host their joint forum "Automation in Dialogue". On all five exhibition days a range of talks will cover the major themes of automation technology in the process industry in a variety of different formats.
Online Process Analytics – Real-Time Process Information
Production in the processing industries is highly complex, depending on the execution of numerous steps and procedures. Precise measurements are essential to ensure safety and quality. Complex variables concerning composition and characteristics in liquids and gases are measured by process analyzers. Over the years these analyzers have developed into sophisticated devices which can be directly integrated into the process, allowing for real-time information to be transmitted to the control rooms.
More and more measuring methods, which used to be executed in laboratories on samples, have moved into the process, allowing for a steadily growing number of parameters to be measured in real-time. The data provided, allows operators to spot and measure possible deviations, control wastage, and to react in a timely and efficient way.
In addition to high-profile panel discussions, visitors can acquire up-to-date information on selected topics in "Meet the Experts" and then join the experts for an informal discussion in the foyer afterwards. The spotlight will not only be on hot topics, such as Modular Automation, IT Security, and Energy and Resource Efficiency, but also on the latest developments in Industry 4.0 and IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things). Additionally, the more traditional topics like Asset Information Management, Explosion Protection and Functional Safety will be addressed.
"Automation in Dialogue" will take place daily in the foyer of the ACHEMA Automation World from 15th to 19th of June 2015 in Hall 11, Level 1, Foyer Northwest.
