TTTech Divests TTTech Auto to Focus on Autonomous Machinery

Vienna-based TTTech is a group of high-tech companies specializing in safe and secure digital solutions for the smart mobile machinery (TTControl), aerospace, industrial, energy, and automotive sectors (TTTech Auto). After a successful development phase in the automotive industry together with founding shareholder Audi, TTTech Auto was successfully spun off as an auto-tech company in 2018, with Infineon, Samsung, and Aptiv joining as shareholders and TTTech remaining the core shareholder of the company.

Yokogawa Electric Corporation recently announced the release of OpreX™ Subsea Power Cable Monitoring, a system for monitoring cables used in the transmission of electricity generated at offshore wind power facilities. By constantly monitoring temperature increases in the subsea power cables caused by damage, this product enables condition-based maintenance, and the reduction of operational costs required for inspection and maintenance.

B&R Introduces New Coding Environment with Cloud Collaboration and AI Assistant

Industrial automation provider B&R, a division of the ABB Group, announced a major update to its comprehensive suite of engineering and runtime software. Automation Studio Code incorporates an array of advanced editing functions, flexible local or cloud-based access, and support for seamless collaborative engineering. Automation Studio Copilot, a generative AI coding assistant developed in cooperation with Microsoft, is fully integrated in this new environment. 

ClearBlade Announces New AI-Enhanced Anomaly Detection Component

ClearBlade, a provider of Edge AI, IoT, and connected digital twin software, announced a new Anomaly Detection Component for its Intelligent Assets application. Intelligent Assets is a digital twin connected to real-time asset data via ClearBlade IoT and Edge software. The newly-released Anomaly Detection Component incorporates AI into the Intelligent Assets application to significantly extend functionality and the ability to take action quickly.
