As part of our ARC Industry Forum cybersecurity workshop sessions on Monday, Feb. 3, Owl Cyber Defense will be hosting a workshop on sustainable OT cybersecurity strategy. The unique challenges of sustaining an effective operational technology (OT) cybersecurity strategy are unfamiliar and unaddressed by many IT security best practices and technologies. From unique protocols to extended lifecycles and rare patch windows to limited security resources, OT security carries with it a series of built-in obstacles to fit-for-purpose, sustainable security. This session will discuss these challenges, review OT cybersecurity best practices and technologies to reduce security management overhead and simplify long-term management and share four key guidelines to develop your own sustainable OT cybersecurity strategy.
