AVEVA announced the expansion of customer trials of their 3D design software in the cloud, after its debut at the AVEVA World Summit 2014 in Berlin. AVEVA Everything3D (AVEVA E3D) was demonstrated running in the cloud and generated a lot of interest.
Another key technology feature of the event was the presentation of AVEVA's new touch screen platform for visualization of asset life cycle information. This latest innovation provides a highly intuitive 3D model-based experience to explore and interrogate complex asset information and unlock the power of a living Digital Asset. The next generation platform was presented live throughout the event with the generous support of Shell and Lundin, who provided real-life Digital Assets from the Gulf of Mexico and the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
