In this video of a brief presentation at the 2020 ARC Industry Forum in Orlando, Florida, Remus Pop from Dana Inc., discusses that company's real-world approach to digital transformation.  Dana Inc. is a large, global supplier for Ford, GM, Chrysler, and other leading automotive OEMs.  Mr. Pop discusses how the company leverages access to its data to improve quality and support customer requirements for traceability.  He also explains how Dana leverages IT to improve maintenance operations through closed-loop alarming, predictive maintenance, and data lakes (with an eye toward supporting ML and deeper analytics).  In conclusion, Mr. Pop states emphatically that "there never has been a better time to leverage technology on the shop floor."
