GE Vernova has successfully completed the acquisition of ROB-EX A/S from Novotek, its Danish subsidiary. This strategic move has been finalized for approximately $3.8 million—merging two long-standing partners in GE Vernova's Proficy portfolio.
Novotek, an industrial IT company, previously owned 51 percent of ROB-EX. The financial terms involved $3.0 million paid at the close, with an additional $0.8 million due after 18 months.
ROB-EX has been a core component of the Proficy portfolio for over 15 years, primarily through its Scheduler product. The formal integration with GE Vernova will enable continued enhancements in scheduling technology and the provision of an integrated manufacturing software suite designed to optimize production from equipment to ERP systems.
Current ROB-EX customers will maintain the same level of support and service during this transition.
