Attending the Embedded World fair in Nuremberg for the first time was an exciting deep dive into the world of embedded computing, AI, and cybersecurity for me. The event brought together the embedded computing community to showcase the latest innovations in semiconductors, industrial automation, and IoT.
The embedded world Exhibition & Conference 2025 presented trends and technical innovations of the embedded systems industry. With more than 1,180 exhibitors from 46 countries, the event covered the entire range of relevant product and solution.
Among the many exhibitors, Kontron caught my interest with its innovations in AI-driven edge computing and high-performance computing (HPC) solutions. Their focus on scalability, real-time processing, and cybersecurity, facilitates the application of AI and machine learning (ML) in industrial environments. Highlights from Kontron at #EW25 included:

As AI and ML take center stage at Embedded World, it’s clear that embedded computing is no longer just about hardware—it’s about intelligent systems that can analyze, adapt, and optimize operations in real time.
