We're just starting to see the early data come in on the Industrial Internet of Things survey that we launched a week or so ago. Far too soon to draw any conclusions yet, but it's great to see that most of the early respondents have already mobilized (to some extent) around IIoT.
As the chart above shows, no survey respondents so far have decided that IIoT is irrelevant for them. Given time though, perhaps some of the 27% currently evaluation the potential of IIoT will end up in that group. Also interesting to note that only 16% of survey takers to date state they have no real idea what the Industrial Internet is.
The survey will be open for several more weeks as we are in the dog days of summer. So, if you'd like to take part, you can find the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/iiot2015
Everyone who completes the survey will get a copy of the final research report. All data collected will be treated confidentially and only used in aggregate.
