PTC announced the acquisition of IncQuery Group, a company providing application lifecycle management (ALM) and systems engineering development and consultancy services to manufacturers and product companies globally. With this addition, PTC helps to further strengthen its position in the engineering and product development landscape.
The IncQuery Group supports companies in helping to simplify complex product development workflows by integrating hardware and software engineering systems. Its solutions help to enable teams to collaborate more effectively and manage product data more efficiently, challenges that continue to grow as products become more software-intensive and regulatory demands increase. The acquisition builds on PTC’s ongoing efforts to unify engineering disciplines across the product lifecycle.
This strategic move expands PTC’s footprint across key areas:
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM): Complements PTC’s existing Codebeamer® platform and accelerates future roadmap development, including AI-powered features
Systems Engineering Expertise: Reinforces PTC’s ability to serve customers designing more complex, interconnected products
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM): Help to enable better integration across ALM and PLM portfolios for more cohesive product development experiences
The acquisition follows the recent release of Codebeamer 3.0 and supports the ongoing development of Codebeamer AI. As digital engineering practices evolve, PTC’s investment demonstrates a continued focus on helping companies manage increasing complexity while meeting quality, compliance, and sustainability goals.
