PTC introduced a new Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Startup Program designed to help accelerate innovation in the sector by supporting early and growth-stage companies with product development tools and resources. The program offers these companies free access to PTC’s suite of cloud-native and SaaS tools designed to help meet the increasing speed, complexity, and compliance requirements in modern aerospace and defense.
Eligible startups can access:
Creo+, PTC’s SaaS CAD solution for advanced modeling and complex assemblies
Onshape, a cloud-native CAD and PDM platform with real-time collaboration and minimal IT overhead
Onshape Government, supporting compliance with ITAR and EAR requirements for regulated projects
Codebeamer+, an ALM platform with agile development capabilities, requirements and test management, and traceability
Arena, a PLM and QMS solution tailored for compliance and scalable product development
As the pace of aerospace and defense modernization accelerates across land, sea, air, space, and cyber domains, startups are expected to move quickly while managing complexity and regulatory requirements. This program helps to address those needs by offering practical tools and long-term participation options that align with startup growth stages, including key funding and revenue milestones.
Beyond software access, the initiative also opens doors to PTC’s broader network of venture capitalists, incubators, partners, and innovators, providing opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and industry visibility.
