PTC and Rockwell Automation Extend Relationship with Focus on IoT and Augmented Reality for Manufacturing

PTC and Rockwell Automation announced an extension of their relationship, focused on the adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) and augmented reality (AR) software by manufacturing companies. Rockwell Automation will continue to resell PTC's ThingWorx IoT software, including the Digital Performance Management (DPM) manufacturing solution, and Vuforia AR software to new and existing customers across discrete and process manufacturing verticals. PTC's IoT and AR solutions are used by Rockwell Automation's manufacturing customers for applications, such as asset monitoring, predictive maintenance, and quality inspection, helping to improve efficiencies and productivity in their factories. Rockwell Automation will continue to leverage PTC software as an important component of it's global customers' digital manufacturing solutions alongside Rockwell Automation's Operations Management solutions.
