PTC announced the release and latest product updates to its FieldFX 24R2, including new features and functionalities designed to help enhance productivity and efficiency for Oil Field Services (OFS) and other Oil and Gas service providers. This latest release is designed to help streamline operations and drive performance improvements, improving how users can manage their field operations. A summary of the new capabilities that are now part of FieldFX include:
FieldFX Email Tool Enhancements – Users can now more easily include attachments in their emails, helping to simplify the process of sending invoices to customers or dispatching updated field tickets. New automation features help to streamline workflows by creating sequence triggers, allowing for a more seamless delivery of field ticket reports once a work order is completed.
Back-Office Grid Updates – New grid filters provide enhanced asset visibility, allowing users to more easily filter by parent items, child items, or both simultaneously. Grid views and columns remain consistent, even when filters are changed, or items become deleted. Additionally, grids remain scrollable when they are empty.
Preventative Maintenance Scheduling Improvement – Users can now more easily schedule preventative maintenance group checks based on meter readings instead of fixed schedules.
ServiceMax DataGuide Update – Mobile capabilities have been enhanced, including the integration of eForms, helping to enable users to create new forms while on the go.
