Rockwell Automation and autonox Robotics announced a strategic partnership that provides unified robot control solutions to companies in North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa. The two companies have collaborated to enable Rockwell Automation's Kinetix motors and drives to be ordered together with autonox's robot mechanics.
The robot solutions are programmed and controlled in a single environment using Rockwell Automation's Logix-based controllers and the Studio 5000 automation system design software, which removes the need to try and coordinate traditionally disparate machine control and robot systems and instead yields a more simplified system architecture that can help teams to work more efficiently, deploy systems faster, and create more effective robotic automation systems.
These unified robot control solutions utilize autonox’s line of DELTA and DuoPod robot mechanics, which are made of carbon fiber composites, stainless steels, titanium, aluminum, and steel alloys, and are available in FDA-compliant materials with special coatings, IP69K protection class, and high-temperature resistant designs.
