Rockwell Automation announced the release of PointMax™ I/O, a flexible remote input/output (I/O) system designed to help address the increasing complexity of modern industrial operations.
As manufacturing environments become more dynamic and interconnected, the ability to adapt system architectures more quickly is critical. Traditional I/O systems, which often rely on extensive wiring and large control cabinets, can be difficult to scale and maintain as production demands rise, and equipment footprints shrink. PointMax I/O is built to help address constraints manufacturers face on the plant floor. Its modular design supports scalable and more easily reconfigurable I/O deployments for both new machine builds and existing equipment. With greater design freedom and seamless integration with Logix 5000 controllers, PointMax I/O is suited for high-performance environments that require reliability and real-time communication. It is also built to withstand harsh industrial conditions.
