This release outlines how Rockwell Automation’s SecureOT solution suite is designed to HELP address cybersecurity challenges in modern industrial environments

Rockwell Automation announced the launch of its SecureOT solution suite, a comprehensive industrial cybersecurity offering developed to help manufacturers and critical infrastructure strengthen protection for operational environments. As industrial systems continue to become more connected, many organizations are experiencing an increase in cyber threats targeting operations technology (OT) systems. Legacy systems often lack embedded cybersecurity features, and traditional IT tools are not always designed to safeguard complex, aging industrial environments. SecureOT was created to help address these challenges along with capabilities tailored for modern OT environments.

The SecureOT solution suite combines the SecureOT Platform, professional services, and managed security services into a unified offering for organizations operating complex, aging, and/or highly regulated industrial systems. It is designed to support full lifecycle cybersecurity requirements while also helping to improve visibility, risk reduction, and operational continuity.

SecureOT is designed for industrial complexity, providing real-time asset visibility, risk prioritization, and vulnerability management across diverse vendor environments. Through its professional services, the solution suite provides advisory support, assessments, and implementation services to help organizations address security challenges. Its managed security services offer continuous monitoring and incident response through Rockwell Automation’s dedicated OT Security Operations Center and Network Operations Center.

SecureOT is designed to help align with established industry frameworks, including NIST CSF, NIS2, and IEC 62443, and follows a vendor-neutral approach to securing industrial control systems and technology stacks.

SecureOT is supporting improvements across multiple sectors. Examples include:

  • A leading oil and gas producer achieving full OT asset visibility and addressing critical risks across remote operations within six months.

  • A beverage manufacturer modernizing its industrial network and compute infrastructure across over 150 global sites.

  • An energy company significantly increasing its NIST CSF maturity scores while strengthening its cybersecurity posture.

  • A power utility improving visibility across remote substations, meeting regulatory requirements and reducing costs through agentless monitoring.

These examples reflect how organizations are applying SecureOT to help enhance cybersecurity maturity across operational environments.
