In this latest edition of the ARC Sustainability Podcast, I talked with Kjell Raemdonck of Seeq about his company's strategy to guide end users through the complex landscape of sustainability. As sustainability continues to take center stage as a business issue, a key trait of successful companies pursuing ambitious initiatives is their shift from periodic, retrospective management to continuous, real-time responsiveness. This change is becoming evident across manufacturing sectors, with leading companies recognizing the benefits of digital solutions and building on existing investments to make rapid impacts. This podcast explores the key components organizations need in place to overcome sustainability inertia (ample data, an accurate and sophisticated model, etc.). We also looked at the importance of establishing a robust digital ecosystem to ensure access to operational data from all sites on an enterprise-wide scale. We then discussed examples of how organizations across the industrial sector are collaborating to progress sustainability initiatives forward, including the Open Hydrogen Initiative. We also discussed the role of AI in accelerating net zero and the energy transition. This podcast can be viewed here:
