New capabilities enhance reliability, scalability, and flexibility for critical applications

Stratus, a Penguin Solutions brand and provider of autonomous zero-touch computing platforms, announced Stratus ztC Endurance support for Microsoft Windows Server 2022. This update offers IT and OT teams additional options to help achieve seven nines (99.99999 percent) reliability for protecting critical applications from downtime and data loss in Windows environments.
The support for Windows Server 2022 helps to enable organizations to run applications in a bare metal configuration, providing fault tolerance with increased performance with reduced overhead. The Stratus ztC Endurance platform also introduces networking enhancements, including 25Gb Ethernet, offering a more scalable and cost-effective upgrade from 10Gb to handle increasing workloads. Additionally, the ztC Endurance model 5100 provides more flexible power options, supporting both 100-127 VAC and 200-240 VAC configurations to meet more diverse user requirements.
The Stratus ztC Endurance platforms are designed to help deliver fault-tolerant computing with more intelligent, predictive, and protected performance for sustainable operations at the edge or in data centers.
The Stratus ztC Endurance model 5100 with Windows Server 2022 support will be generally available starting November 18, 2024, with Hyper-V support expected in the first half of 2025.
