TotalEnergies and Emerson have joined forces to implement large-scale, real-time industrial data collection solutions across TotalEnergies’ operational sites. The collaboration aims to leverage the continuous flow of data to optimize operational, energy, and environmental performance and help the company supply more reliable and sustainable energy.
TotalEnergies and Emerson’s Aspen Technology business announced the strategic collaboration to deploy digital technologies enabling real-time data collection across TotalEnergies’ global industrial sites. The goal is to extract value from this data to drive better decision-making using artificial intelligence (AI), ultimately enhancing efficiency, energy optimization, and sustainability outcomes.
Under the agreement, TotalEnergies will roll out Emerson’s AspenTech Inmation™ platform across its facilities. This industrial data fabric will aggregate millions of real-time data points, creating a secure and unified access layer across the organization. The digital infrastructure also includes Emerson’s advanced process control solutions, enabling future AI applications across TotalEnergies’ operations.
The two-year rollout is expected to improve industrial performance by:
Accelerating the detection of anomalies and performance degradation.
Optimizing energy consumption.
Enhancing operational safety.
Speeding up AI integration into industrial processes.
