PLM platform update focused on AI-enabled compliance, improved usability, and enhanced data visibility.

Devex PLM 2026 introduces updates aimed at helping organizations manage product development more effectively by strengthening regulatory compliance, improving usability, and supporting collaboration across teams. The release combines AI-enabled functionality with user experience enhancements to improve how product data is accessed, analyzed, and managed throughout the product lifecycle.
Embedded AI Support for Regulatory Compliance
Intelligence
A central addition in this release is Trace One Copilot, a context-aware intelligence layer embedded directly within the Trace One solutions platform. Trace One Copilot is designed to support end-to-end tasks through proactive agents and features that summarize information, synthesize data, and guide users through workflows.
The initial rollout focuses on regulatory compliance, enabling users to directly access Trace One’s validated Food Law Library and Food News Monitoring System. Users can ask questions in natural language and receive guided responses from the AI agent to support compliance-related decision-making.
Redesigned Navigation and Task Management
Navigation
Devex PLM 2026 introduces a redesigned user experience intended to improve productivity and day-to-day task management. Navigation has been streamlined through a reorganized main menu positioned at the top of the screen, improved tab organization, and updated entity navigators.
New layouts and breadcrumb-based navigation bring key information and actions into clearer view, helping users switch between tasks more efficiently while maintaining context across workflows.
Product Versioning Based on Validity Dates
Accuracy
The release expands product versioning capabilities to support the design, labeling, and validation of products based on validity dates. This allows organizations to ensure that products and their components remain accurate and compliant for specific timeframes.
By aligning product versions with defined validity periods, teams can support more precise label generation and more reliable compliance assessments throughout the product lifecycle.
Enhanced Data Visualization and Analysis

Visualization
Devex PLM 2026 also improves data interpretation by enabling users to convert custom queries into visual charts directly on the homepage. Supported visualizations include pie, column, and bar charts, all of which can be configured based on user-defined criteria.
Users can control grouping, sorting, aggregation methods such as count or sum, color selection, and widget layout. Integrated drill-down functionality allows users to move from visual summaries to detailed query results in a single step, supporting more efficient and informed data analysis.
These updates expand Devex PLM’s functionality in areas such as regulatory compliance, navigation, product versioning, and data analysis. The changes are intended to support more consistent handling of product information and compliance requirements across different stages of the product lifecycle.
