Romy works at the Chair of Engineering Psychology and Applied Cognitive Research of TU Dresden.  Currently, she is interested in processes of action planning and control, task set selection and interpersonal coordination in joint action, as well as the human-centered design of communication and assistance systems for industrial environments.  Romy’s research is concerned with bridging the gap between basic research on cognitive control processes and applied aspects of cognition and action in human-machine systems.
