Overview
Many OT security teams lack sufficient people to keep up with all of the tasks associated with sustaining defenses, addressing sophisticated attacks and satisfying proliferating governance and compliance requirements. They need to reduce workloads and increase efficiency to ensure that all risks are properly addressed.
A lot of solutions have been suggested to improve security defender efficiency and effectiveness. This includes collaborative IT/OT cybersecurity, integrated cybersecurity platforms, AI and co-pilots. But how do users choose the best approach for their specific organization and operations?
A panel discussion on Driving Efficient and Effective OT Cybersecurity was held at the 2025 ARC Forum in Orlando with a panel of end users from leading industrial companies. The goal was to share strategies that companies are finding effective in addressing security effectiveness and efficiency challenges. Attendees included owner-operators, security professionals, suppliers and other stakeholders in industrial cybersecurity. The session format provided opportunities for everyone to contribute their own insights, experiences, and unique concerns to the discussion.
All of the workshops and case study sessions at the 2025 ARC Forum received high ratings for content and relevance. Attendees particularly liked the fact that all the speakers and workshop panelists were end users who shared relevant experiences and challenges.
