My last post on ARC's upcoming forum introduced the new approaches to analytics session that I'll be hosting. The industrial internet of things (IIoT) is going to demand new approaches to analytics. Removing latency from the process that captures raw data and turns it into management information is key. The sessions second speaker, Hedi Ago, will discuss how the data generated by smart meters at the Orlando Utilities Commission is being used to deliver more customer value, in addition to internal process efficiencies.
