The calibration cycle of devices starts in the factories, ensuring that devices measure accurately from the first day after installation. In order to maintain this level over the entire device life cycle, calibration services can help operators.
Endress+Hauser (E+H) offers on-site calibration services with mobile flow calibration rigs using the same calibration standards as in their production centers. The service includes the on-site advice from service technicians on how to adjust the instruments for perfect measurement.

The foundation of reliable measurement is built by factory calibration after production. Instruments are calibrated on liquid and gas flow rigs depending on flow technology. These calibrations are directly traceable to national standards and have the highest accuracy worldwide. All E+H calibration laboratories have ISO17025 quality accreditation.
Technical accuracy of the laboratory on-site
On-site calibration is performed by specialized engineers with flow measurement and metrology knowledge. Convenient and cost-effective, it removes the need to send instruments off-site as the specialists come to the customer, keeping downtime to an absolute minimum. It also offers the highest flexibility as calibration can be scheduled according to process shortages. The field service engineers can perform adjustments, diagnose faults and recalibrate instantly where necessary; they calibrate all of the plant's installed base, not just Endress+Hauser devices.
Having the engineers on-site also offers the benefit of direct communication with staff and means that calibration takes place close to the operating conditions. The mobile trailers with portable calibration equipment are stationed close to industrial hubs, allowing instruments to remain at your place of operation. Depending on plant topology, many measuring points can be quickly calibrated with minimal interruption to the process. Mobile trailers perform a comparison between two devices under test. After successful execution, customers receive the necessary calibration certificates together with comments from an expert. When adjustments or repairs are needed, E+H's workshops with calibration laboratories are located close.
Accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17025:2005
On the 28th of April 2015 Endess+Hauser(Switzerland) received the accreditation for on-site calibration according to SN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 by the SAS (Swiss Accreditation Service). On-site calibration services include devices for the measurement of flow, temperature and pressure. For the region Germany/Austria/Switzerland E+H is the first service provider offering accredited on-site calibration according to ISO/IEC 17025.
