Rockwell Automation announced the launch of its Connected Worker Solution from Plex, by Rockwell Automation. These capabilities of its new Connected Worker Solution were developed to help users enhance productivity, quality, and safety on the plant and factory floor. The new Connected Worker Solution provides more advanced digital tools to help retain, attract, and reskill workers. It helps to empower workers with real-time guidance, visual aids, and multimedia content, to better enhance comprehension and reduce errors on the job. By streamlining the number of applications manufacturers need, the solution also helps to reduce total cost of ownership, time to value, and cybersecurity risk.
The new capabilities are directly embedded within Plex’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES), providing a single source for further optimizing manufacturing productivity without the need for multiple subscriptions. The Connected Worker Solution provide the following benefits:

Advanced capabilities include chat features in partnership with Microsoft Teams, activity management of people and machines, key measurable capabilities, and smart tool integrations offering manufacturers the ability to customize their connected worker solutions.
