Rockwell Automation announced that its Allen‑Bradley PowerFlex 755TS frame 7A low voltage drive with TotalFORCE technology expanded its power range up to 500 Hp (355 kW) and provides a new panel-mount solution for high horsepower applications. The AC drive is up to 75 percent smaller than floor mount alternatives, making it easier to install and meet minimal footprint requirements where mounting space is at a premium. This newly expanded AC Drive can help industrial companies to further simplify installation, increase productivity and maximize uptime. These Allen-Bradley PowerFlex family of 755TS six-pulse drives are designed to provide more power in a smaller footprint, are especially suited for companies in heavy industry applications.
Additionally, the PowerFlex 755TS frame 7A drives help to enable easier maintenance and commissioning for system integrators and OEMs in industries, such as oil and gas, power generation, water/wastewater, and mining and metals. This new addition to the Allen-Bradley AC Drives portfolio helps to bring a more simplified and consistent user experience to motor control applications. This includes traditional fan, pump and conveyor applications, as well as more advanced motor control processes that require high-performance features typically found in specialized drive solutions.
