Hitachi Digital Services, a digital consultancy and technology services subsidiary of Hitachi, announced the launch of its generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) offering: Reliable, Observable, and Optimal AI, or R2O2.ai. The new R2O2.ai AI framework is designed to help bridge the gap betwen conceptualing AI workloads and deploying them at scale, delivering more reliable, responsible, and observable AI models at greater speed and efficiency, suited for enterprises aiming to scale their AI projects more responsibally and optimally. This new offering helps to empower businesses to more efficiently develop and deploy AI solutions, bridging the gap between concept and production, and helping to ensure ethical AI operations. The R2O2.ai framework will further expand Hitachi's propriatary HARC (Hitachi Application Reliability Centers) offering, a suite of engineering services, that helps its customers to build and manage systems with greater reliability, resiliency, security and cost efficiency, leveraging over 20 years of AI expertise and a library of custom models to help accelerate adoption and improve operational efficiency.
The R2O2.ai framework helps to enable enterprises across industries to develop AI solutions faster and reduce operational downtime, while ensuring compliance with ethical standards. Notable applications include predictive maintenance for large US fleet operators, improving hospital bed management in the UK, and streamlining M&A processes for private equity firms.
