Rockwell Automation has introduced a new tool, the Sustainability Calculator for Repairs, designed to support companies' sustainability goals by measuring the environmental impact of repair and remanufacturing processes. This tool helps to enable businesses to assess how remanufacturing strategies impact carbon emissions, energy use, and waste generation.

The calculator’s user dashboard provides data-driven insights by examining variables such as product type, size, and weight to estimate the emissions saved when opting for repairs over replacements. This tool supports data sharing for additional transparency with investors and stakeholders, along with tracking Scope 3 emissions. Its export format also allows integration with other sustainability and marketing platforms.

Available to customers through a repair and services agreement, the Sustainability Calculator aims to help businesses enhance their environmental impact assessments while reinforcing Rockwell Automation's commitment to sustainability.
