The Open Process Automation Forum (OPAF), a leading initiative under The Open Group, is dedicated to advancing open, secure, and interoperable process control systems. By developing the Open Process Automation Standard (O-PAS Standard), they aim to transition industrial automation from proprietary, vendor-locked systems to an open, flexible, and future-proof framework.
