With an eye on accelerating innovation and providing enhanced local support to customers across the region, Nozomi Networks has established its new Asia Pacific and Japan headquarters in Singapore. The company cited several favorable factors behind the decision, including Singapore’s desirable location, its status as a leading business hub, a skilled workforce, and a strong commitment to strengthening critical infrastructure and OT cybersecurity through standards and regulatory frameworks such as the Singapore Cybersecurity Act.
In September 2025, Nozomi Networks entered into a definitive agreement to become a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric, marking the largest OT cybersecurity acquisition in history. With close to 100 customers across the region, this latest investment is expected to help the company scale operations, support its growing customer base, and further strengthen its partner ecosystem across Asia Pacific and Japan.
From a resourcing perspective, the company is launching operations with a core team that includes regional leadership, sales and marketing, professional services, business partner management, customer success, and regional customer technical support. The team is expected to expand in line with business growth and market demand to support continued regional expansion.
Nozomi Networks also plans to collaborate with the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore in support of the nation’s Operational Technology Cybersecurity Masterplan 2024. By contributing technical expertise, industry insights, and best practices, the company says it is committed to supporting the agency’s vision of a secure and resilient OT ecosystem to protect Singapore’s Critical Information Infrastructure.
“Nozomi Networks has worked hand in hand with Singaporean industry, critical infrastructure, and government leaders to raise the bar on industrial cybersecurity, and it’s fitting now to make the country our APJ headquarters,” said David Hope, APJ Regional Vice President.
“Awareness of critical infrastructure cybersecurity is increasing every day, with new regulatory requirements playing a major role in organizations’ investments in cybersecurity solutions. We recognize this demand, and our new headquarters will help us better serve customers across the region.”
