Schneider Electric introduced new capabilities for Schneider Charge Pro, its Level 2 commercial electric vehicle (EV) charger, to help property owners and operators to deploy, manage, and scale EV charging infrastructure across the US.
The updates help to address the growing demand for EV charging at commercial properties and fleet facilities, where operators must also manage constraints related to power availability, supporting electrical infrastructure, and energy costs. Charge Pro is intended for multi-unit dwellings (MUDs), workplaces, fleet operations, and public and destination charging locations, such as hotels and retail centers.
The solution combines charging hardware, software, and services to help simplify deployment and support charger availability across multiple locations. It also integrates EV charging operations with Schneider Electric’s broader energy management and electrical infrastructure portfolio.

Integrated Charging Management
Charge Pro integrates with EV Connect Software+™, a cloud-based charging station management system that enables site owners and operators to monitor charger performance, manage access, track usage, and monetize charging stations across multiple locations.
One year of EV Connect Software+ is included upon activation. The offering also includes proactive monitoring and driver support to help operators identify performance issues and maintain charger availability. Charge Pro is supported by a five-year hardware warranty.
The integration of charging hardware, management software, firmware, and support services provides operators with a unified environment for managing commercial EV charging deployments.

Integrated Charging Management Software: EV Connect Software+ supports remote performance monitoring, access management, usage tracking, and driver assistance.
Simplified Commissioning: The commissioning process is designed to help streamline installation and reduce the time required to bring charging sites online.
App-Free Charging: Drivers can begin a charging session by scanning a QR code without downloading an application or creating an account.
Cybersecurity Measures: Charge Pro incorporates Schneider Electric’s cybersecurity practices to help protect charging operations and associated data.
Expanded Connector Options: The charger supports both J1772 and the North American Charging Standard (NACS), with configurations of up to 80 A to accommodate a range of electric vehicles.
Integration with Electrical Infrastructure
Charge Pro is designed to connect EV charging operations with Schneider Electric’s energy management and electrical infrastructure solutions. This integration can help site operators monitor energy demand, balance electrical loads, and manage available power as the number of chargers and charging sessions increases.
The charger can be deployed alongside Schneider Electric’s panelboards, switchgear, and circuit protection products used in commercial EV charging installations. Schneider Electric also works with certified installation partners, including Qmerit, to help coordinate the installation and expansion of charging infrastructure.
By connecting chargers with charging management software and the supporting electrical system, commercial property owners and fleet operators can manage EV charging as part of a broader site energy strategy rather than as an isolated system.
