The worldwide enterprise software market showed healthy growth in the third quarter of 2017. The market expanded on the back of relentless innovation and available capital. Once again, exchange rates played a role, with a marginal strengthening of the euro relative to the dollar. The 5.3 percent exchange rate fluctuation provided a reasonable lift to revenues reported in euros that ARC subsequently translated to US dollars for this report.

Suppliers included in this report recorded a combined quarterly revenue of slightly over $22 billion, representing an 8.1 percent year-over-year growth.

American Software (Logility)

American Software (Logility) reported total revenues of $26.2 million for the quarter ended in October 2017. This represents a very marginal increase of 0.2 percent from the same period last year. License revenues declined by 23.6 percent to $2.4 million, whereas services and other revenues increased by 5.3 percent to $13 million and maintenance revenues increased by 1.3 percent. The annual contract value for Cloud Services increased by approximately 123 percent to $9.9 million for the quarter, compared with $4.4 million in the same quarter of the previous year.
